Ánimo Head Spa

Ánimo Head Spa in Tucson, Arizona, offers Japanese-inspired head spa treatments focused on scalp care and relaxation.

The menu runs from a 30-minute waterless Dry Head Spa (from $50) to longer water-based sessions. The Classic 60 Minute Headspa includes scalp exfoliation, cleansing gel, shampoo, a conditioning mask, and a scalp, neck, and shoulder massage. The Signature 75 Minute Headspa adds a hot oil scalp massage and a hand and arm massage. The Luxury 90 Minute Headspa goes further with a hot green tea rinse, high-frequency scalp therapy, a hot stone hand and arm massage, and an oxygen-infused scalp serum. Children ages 6 to 12 can try a gentle 30-minute Kids Headspa, and packages of four sessions save 15%.

The spa uses professional-grade NaturalTech products and sells some for at-home care. Reviewers describe a peaceful, welcoming space, warm and friendly staff, and a deeply relaxing visit. Several came for a first head spa or a birthday, and one mentions a small area to freshen up before leaving. Gift cards are available.

If you have colored hair, book your session before your next color appointment, since the cleansing shampoo and hot water can fade color.
